Our Psychologist

Umesh is a Senior Psychologist with over a decade of experience working across public and private mental health services in Queensland and Victoria.
His main areas of practice include trauma, PTSD and complex trauma, workplace psychological injury, first responder mental health, anxiety, depression and complex mental health presentations. He also provides adult psychological assessments for ADHD, Autism/ASD and cognitive functioning. Umesh has experience working with police, paramedics, veterans, people recovering from workplace and motor vehicle accidents, and clients referred through insurance and compensation schemes. Born and raised in Nepal, Umesh provides psychological services in both English and Nepali and works with clients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. |

What to Expect
Your first appointment is an opportunity to discuss what has brought you to psychology, your current concerns, relevant history and what you would like support with.
For therapy, we will work together to develop an understanding of your needs and discuss suitable treatment options and goals.
For psychological assessments, the process may include clinical interviews, questionnaires, developmental or collateral information, psychological testing, feedback and a written report where appropriate.
Your information is treated confidentially in accordance with professional and legal requirements. Any limits to confidentiality will be explained as part of your care.
