Consultation Fees – Registered Psychologist
Medicare Rebate
A Medicare rebate of $98.95 is available for eligible sessions with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP.
To receive rebates:
Please note:
A Mental Health Treatment Plan DOES NOT mean sessions are bulk billed. You will still be required to pay the full session fee, and the Medicare rebate will be processed back to you after your appointment.
- Initial Consultation (50 minutes): $240
- Subsequent Consultations (50 minutes): $220
Medicare Rebate

- You must obtain a referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP
- Medicare provides rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year

Rebates depend on the level of extras cover. A paid receipt will be provided for claiming. |

Payment
Payment for each consultation is required on the day of your appointment. We accept most major credit cards and provide EFTPOS facilities through the HICAP terminal for your convenience. Please bring a bank card so your Medicare Rebate can be deposited into your nominated account.
Cancellation Policy
At Verve Psychology, we understand that life can sometimes present unexpected changes and challenges. We value your time and the commitment to your appointments, and we're here to support you every step of the way. To ensure that we can continue to provide the best care to all our clients and accommodate those who may be on a waiting list, we have a cancellation policy in place.
If, for any reason, you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours' notice. This allows us the opportunity to offer the allocated time to another person who may be in need of our services.
Here is our cancellation policy:
Cancellation with Less Than 48 Hours' Notice:
We kindly request that you provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel your appointment. A fee of $80 will be charged for cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice. This helps us manage our schedule effectively and accommodate other clients in need.
Missed Appointments with No Notice:
If you miss an appointment without providing any notice, the full fee will be charged. This policy helps us ensure that appointments are utilized efficiently and allows us to serve clients who are waiting for support. Please note that Medicare rebates are not available for cancelled or missed sessions.
