Medicare Rebates
You will need a referral (Mental Health Care Plan-MHCP) from your GP (or a psychiatrist or paediatrician) to receive Medicare rebates. Clients are entitled to a Medicare Rebate for a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year.
Please note that having a mental health care plan DOES NOT mean your sessions will be bulk billed.

Fees are covered by Work Cover. You need to have a claim number or a referral from a GP. |
NDIS |
We offer psychology services to NDIS participants who are self-managed, plan-managed and service-managed. |
NDIS will cover the fees for eligible participants as per the NDIS fee schedule. |
DVA & Open Arms |
If you are a current or former member of the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and hold a White or Gold Card, you are entitled to certain benefits, including psychological treatment for mental health conditions. Some limits may apply for White card holders (please contact DVA to check your entitlements). You require a referral from your GP to your psychologist to claim DVA benefits. |
Fees are covered by DVA and Open Arms as per their standard fee schedule. You need to have a referral from a GP or Open Arms. |
Payment
Payment for each consultation is required on the day of your appointment. We accept most major credit cards and provide EFTPOS facilities through the HICAP terminal for your convenience. Please bring a bank card so your Medicare Rebate can be deposited into your nominated account.
Cancellation Policy
At Verve Psychology, we understand that life can sometimes present unexpected changes and challenges. We value your time and the commitment to your appointments, and we're here to support you every step of the way. To ensure that we can continue to provide the best care to all our clients and accommodate those who may be on a waiting list, we have a cancellation policy in place.
If, for any reason, you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours' notice. This allows us the opportunity to offer the allocated time to another person who may be in need of our services.

Cancellation with Less Than 48 Hours' Notice:
We kindly request that you provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel your appointment. A fee of $80 will be charged for cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice. This helps us manage our schedule effectively and accommodate other clients in need.
Missed Appointments with No Notice:
If you miss an appointment without providing any notice, the full fee will be charged. This policy helps us ensure that appointments are utilized efficiently and allows us to serve clients who are waiting for support. Please note that Medicare rebates are not available for cancelled or missed sessions.
